The problem

Your task manager is supposed to reduce stress. Somehow it creates it.

You open it looking to feel on top of things. Instead: fifty tasks, most of which you can't act on right now — wrong device, wrong time, wrong location. A list you can't work through isn't clarity. It's just pressure.

How it works

It checks the conditions.You don't have to.

It works this out for itself
Time
Some tasks only work in a specific window — calling the dentist, chasing an invoice. They stay out of sight until that window opens.
Location
Tasks for the office don't turn up at home. Raenow knows where you are, so the list changes when you move.
Device
A task that needs Figma shouldn't appear on your phone. Raenow knows which device you're on and hides what you can't do on it.
Weather
Mowing the lawn only makes sense when it's dry. Raenow reads live weather and keeps outdoor tasks away until it clears.
Blocked by task
Can't review the contract until the lawyer sends it. Can't paint until the primer dries. A task stays hidden until the one ahead of it is done.
One thing only you know
Energy
How much you've got right now is the one thing Raenow can't work out on its own. Tap it, and the list adjusts.

Why this exists

Raenow comes out of a system I built between 2013 and 2019, when I was co-owner of ten businesses at once — two restaurants, a woodshop, a massage clinic, a photography company — across a dozen buildings and both coasts. Each time I got on top of the load, I took on a partnership in another one.

Today I'm a product manager, building work-management systems for thousands of people.
